Autism New Zealand are hosting a range of programs for psychiatrists, paediatricians, psychologists, speech language therapists, occupational therapists and health professionals wanting to build their expertise in autism diagnosis, with a focus on early years assessment.
ADOS-2 Introductory Workshop
This series of online sessions introduces the ADOS-2 as a developmental assessment tool and is a first step in the process for establishing reliability. It uses a mixture of group lecture, video demonstration, practice in scoring, and discussion.
(Training does not include the Toddler Module.)

Deborah Sweeney, registered psychologist, has been using the ADI-R and ADOS in complex, multi-disciplinary assessments for over 16 years and regularly trains health professionals throughout Australasia.
What is the ADOS-2?
The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule -Second Edition is a semi-structured, standardised assessment of communication, social interaction, and play. It has been designed to assist in the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and is intended as a supplementary instrument to the ADI-R.
